Move it for Marms t shirt

£5 from every purchase will be donated to charity in memory of Mrs Marmion 

Earlier this year we all lost our lovely Ruth Marmion. She was truly one in a million and we miss her everyday. She was the heart and soul of Chew Valley School and many students, ex-students and parents have so many memories of how she helped them through good times and bad and fought for equal access for them to the simple things in life but also to give them the hopes and possibilities of where their lives might take them.

As a school community we wanted to do something to both remember her by, but also to try our best to live by the advice that she left us. One of the main messages was to move because we can move, and the Year 11s at school have taken this to heart, setting up their own lunchtime session which they have named 'Move it for Marms'. This t-shirt is their design and includes some of the other pieces of advice that Ruth gave us - 'Be Kind', 'Find Joy', 'Move because you can' and of course the blueberries to represent eating 5 a-day.

With Ruth's family and friends we hope to raise money to continue to do the work that Ruth was so passionate about.

Our wish is that as many people as possible will buy a t-shirt so that we can spread Ruth's message wider than her family, friends and the Chew Valley Community. When we think about 'what would Ruth do?' we think she would approve.
